was joined by a litter of her fellow Catwomen while attempting to give her opening monologue on .

Before getting interrupted, the 33-year-old star joked to viewers about how she prepared for her role in Matt Reeves’ film The Batman as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

‘I watched the movie musical Cats every day for a year,’ she teased.

‘Which is actually how I heard Joaquin Phoenix prepared to play the Joker.’

Out of nowhere, McKinnon, 38, appeared dressed in a black latex catsuit, inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns.

‘Someone here talking about Cats?’ she asked while sauntering on stage. ‘I’m Catwoman from the ’90s. The one with the whip. You know, like cats have?’ 

The writer also elaborated on her origin story, which involved her falling ‘out of a window into a pile of cats’ that licked her ‘back to life.’ 

‘It’s just like Sandy from a porno version of Grease,’ she mused, before turning on the ‘Cat Signal’ to lure Eartha Kitt’s Catwoman from the 60s Batman TV show to the stage. 

While Kravitz attempted to continue her monologue, Cat Lady (Aidy Bryant) and comedian Katt Williams (Chris Redd) also interrupted. 

She concluded: ‘I can finally say what I’ve been trying to say.

Which is, we’ve got a great show for you tonight. Rosalia is here. Stick around, and we’ll be right back!’ 

The Big Little Lies star went on to show her comedic chops as she gave a hilarious maid of honor speech to a friend, who she joked has always been like a ‘sister’ considering they’ve ‘both seen’ her father naked.

She went on to list some of the reasons why her groom was such a ‘lucky guy’ to be marrying her best friend, who she says has always had her back—even through some questionable situations. 

From always believing her when she claims to be ‘sober enough to drive’ to understanding how she accidentally shot someone, Kravitz fawned over the bride’s unconditional support.

At this point, the groom looks shocked as the High Fidelity actress revealed that her pal’s last nine boyfriends killed themselves, but that didn’t stop her from believing in love.

After turning to his spouse if Kravitz was joking, though it’s clear she’s not, the bride shushes him and laughs as her maid of honor recalls them ‘fighting for justice’ during the US Capitol attack in 2021 to ‘kill Mike Pence.’

To make things worse for the groom, Kravitz began comparing him to the ‘hundreds’ of men the bride previously dated who were famous, mysterious and better in bed.

The Gemini actress went on to play a popular teenage student, considered to be the Hilary Duff of her high school algebra class.

After studying with a nerdy peer, she proceeds to flirt with him, even after he desperately calls a more experienced friend (Aidy Bryant) to ask for dating advice.

In an attempt to impress his crush, the geeky teen whispers to her that he got mono from a trumpet.

‘I feel like I know you better,’ Kravitz replied, to his surprise.

Nothing seems to make her any less interested in McKinnon’s character, even a talk about recently having to put down his turtle.

‘Can I put my head on your shoulder?’ she asks him as he clutches onto his cellphone and informs his classmate that ‘things are progressing.’

Eventually, they touch knees and end up kissing on her front porch.

The next sketch is inspired by another unconventional love story—Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.   

While rocking Princess Tiana’s green dress, Kravitz’s excitement over her new relationship comes to a screeching halt after she finds out he doesn’t have a penis. 

While her suitor, who will turn back into a human prince after they share a kiss, insists they can tackle that later, she expresses her confusion.

After asking about what genitalia he does have, the Prince Naveen-inspired character talks about his balls and being able to perform oral ‘a mile away.’

This leads her to reevaluate their romance, before pondering how frogs not having penises never came up when she dissected them in high school. 

Once she learns even if he was transformed back into a person he’d be missing his manhood, she declares: ‘I’m out.’

New York-based comedy trio Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy run into trouble while attempting to gift the host a kitten.

Despite doing their best to keep an eye on the adorable cat, they keep losing the feline and have to enlist Kravitz to help find it. 

On their search, the cat keeps getting found and lost again. By the end, Kravitz is ready to leave, until her new pet finds its way into her arms.  

Next, Kravitz plays a woman watching ‘old home movies’ with her brother and mother, who joins them after washing dishes.

Their father (Kenan Thompson), who is in the bathroom, comes on the TV and announces he hid this specific tape so their’ mama wouldn’t watch it.’ 

‘Shh, I want to hear this,’ the mom says as her husband says they probably learned he is ‘flat broke’ by now. 

As to what happened to their savings, he explains he was ‘too embarrassed to say anything.’

‘Let’s see what else, what else?

Oh, I also have a secret daughter. She probably be at my funeral,’ he continues. 

He clarifies that he did not cheat on his wife, but ‘was a sperm donor back in the day.’

‘I never would have done that had I known that they was going to use it to make babies,’ he noted. 

Thompson also apologizes to his son ‘for passing down the erectile dysfunctions.’

The next sketch was based on a game show, called Word Crunch, in which contestants are shown a word search and must find words for points.

‘There’s a writer’s strike so our sound engineer wrote all this herself,’ the host prefaced.

While Bryant’s character had no trouble finding words, Kravitz struggled.

Kravitz kept repeating ‘mom hole’ despite being told that’s not a word.

Eventually her time to shine came when a new puzzle appeared and she racked up points by finding the words: ”Balls, lips, butt, slit, blow, gag, juice, titty, horny, horny and time.’ 

The final sketch featured Kravitz and Bowen Yang falling in love, despite both being gay, over their shared love for the OSU drumline’s rendition of Don’t Stop Believing. 

Another fan-favorite sketch was one called Amazon Go, which featured members of a wealthy white community loving a new store that would allow costumers to leave without using a cashier.

Kravitz, Thompson, Punkie Thompson, and Ego Nwodim, however, sensed that the store was a trap for Black people. 

Earlier this week during an appearance on The Tonight Show, Zoë asked host Jimmy Fallon – who was an SNL castmember from 1998-2004 – if he would guest star in a skit with her, he enthusiastically replied: ‘I would do anything you ask me to do!’

Kravitz previously made an uncredited cameo as a ‘partygoer’ in a 2018 SNL skit when Donald Glover/Childish Gambino hosted and served musical guest duties.

The SAG Award nominee has been hard at work promoting her role as bisexual cat burglar Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, which has amassed $269M at the global box office since opening Friday.

The critically-acclaimed DC Comics reboot also stars Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, and Andy Serkis.

Zoë will next serve presenting duties at the 94th Academy Awards – airing March 27 on ABC – which will be hosted by comedians Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall.

Kravitz has also been writing and recording her debut solo album at Electric Lady Studios in New York with five-time Grammy winner Jack Antonoff, who made a cameo in her Hulu series High Fidelity in 2020.
